Electranyx headlines are set in Jason Kottke‘s Silkscreen, menus in IBM Plex® and body text in Fraunces & LTR NCND. The Electranyx logo is custom type by Samuel Agboọla.
TECHNICAL
Electranyx is built on WordPress and eschews JavaScript. Every effort is made to limit data collection and tracking by third-party plug-ins.
The site was designed by Samuel Agboọla on a Mac. Development tools include BBEdit, Claude, ChatGPT, iA Writer, Illustrator, MagicaVoxel, Safari, & Transmit.
The Electranyx store is run via WooCommerce using a bespoke theme by Samuel Agboọla.
Production hardware includes microphones by Schoeps and Shure, cameras and lenses by Apple and Pentax, and recording equipment by Apogee, Gordon and Nagra.
I haven’t used a mouse since the discovering Wacom tablets in 1998.

ABOUT
Samuel Agboọla was born in London and is a dual British and American citizen.
His career encompasses work in publishing, advertising, marketing, online media, writing, public relations, design, entertainment and entrepreneurship.
He has founded, funded and run a number of companies in Europe and the US, and built teams based across the US, Europe and Asia.
He rides bikes for fun and works out with kettlebells and a rowing machine like some kind of old-timey guy in a unitard.
