Gosh! it’s ’orrid to be back; you’d hardly believe it but my beastly train was only ten minutes late getting into Snow Hill, an awful blow after the time ’it took me to get home.

…long time, although its lovely to have seven days. I find it most unsettling when I get back. I seem to have got used once again to having you with me, all the time, although I know that very soon I shall feel better about it, it doesn’t make me feel any happier at the moment. I do hope that you darling are not feeling too howly. As I want to try and catch the six o’clock post darling I’m going to close now with all my love to both my dingles,
