Darling,
Just a short note to say it is 8 days since I had your N:11, and as (except for this) I am only writing you in answer to your, I’m afraid it will mean the same interval between my letters.
I do hope everything is well with you. I will write again immediately I hear from you.
I posted yesterday a 6 lb tin of biscuits which Auntie Polly gave me for you.
An official called on me two days ago regarding my application for additional allowance. I had to give very comprehensive details regarding everything including what you gave me prior to joining the army (Please excuse such but I want to catch post) I stated 35/- p.w. for food and clothing, your meeting all other liabilities…

…(light, coal, rent etc.)
I gave Gahams as your employer for 4 month, salary £3 p.w. average comm. 7/- p.w.
Prior to that I stated you were accountant sleek to various firms. I hope this is correct.
With all my love darling, I do hope I hear from you soon.
Yours,
Terry.
P.S. I have given above details as they are subject to verification by the Board.
