19.11.39.
Dear Jill,
I was so glad you liked your two letters. One from Daddy and one from uncle Vic. Thank you so much for your lovely letter to Daddy. I think it was awfully clever of you to write a real word with a real pen.
Daddy is still playing with big guns bit it getting a bit tired of it. He would rather play with little Jill instead.
Mummy says…

…in her letter that Pam may be coming for Christmas. That would be lovely wouldn’t it?
Bye, bye Darling. Give Mummy another big kiss for Daddy please and ask Mummy to give you a big hug also from Daddy.
Lots of love,
D.
